Pancho has played at the very top level in his native Argentina spending the majority of his time at the world famous Independiente before moving to Switzerland to play for 2 of Switzerland’s biggest clubs FC Zurich and FC Basel.

Pancho is extremely well respected and his philosophy of promoting players from within Alicante City FC’s teams has seen a record number of u19´s and U23´s represent the 1st team.

 David brings a wealth of professional footballing experience to the academy. David spent much of his playing career in La Liga having turned out for Hércules, Elche and UD Llieda in a 12 year playing career.

He works closely with the 1st team, under 23 and under 19 coaches to identify talent from within the club and helps to decide on the best routes of progression for players.

Michael will be with all of the players at every step of the process. From initial video calls, to excursions and time spent in the villa, Michael is a familiar face that players can rely on to help them through their time at the academy.

With over 10+ years of experience, Michael specialises in ensuring each player has an exceptional experience during their time in Alicante and will help players reach their potential both on and off the field.

As is the nature of the academy, players will be encouraged to play to the highest level possible and already established links will make it possible for players to push on from ACFC and into the higher leagues in Spain, the UK and further afield.

Players will be able to access established player placement companies such as Soccer Smart and also benefit from new cutting-edge technologies and services helping ACFC and Steven Gerrard Academy players gain opportunities to play around the world.

The academy focuses on creating the conditions for success for each individual player by training throughout a weekly schedule. Adding these training sessions to a schedule that includes gym sessions and matches, players’ development will be accelerated in a positive, professional environment.
